I’m incredibly excited to announce the start of a new women’s ministry that we’ve been formulating over the past couple of months. The first meeting will be Saturday, Oct. 29th from 10-12pm at Diana Fang’s apartment. Here’s a little about what you can expect from M.A.D.E:
In a world where the lines between men and women have been blurred, we are taking the opportunity to refocus on what it means to be fearfully and wonderfully MADE as a woman. M.A.D.E. will be a once-a-month gathering where GOC women of all ages and stages can attend. We’ll be going over the fundamentals of what it means to be a women and also get practical with what that looks like in the workplace and situations that most of us will encounter in a couple of years. Hopefully, these 2 hour sessions will inspire you to fulfill the roles that God has M.A.D.E. you for!
Each short lesson/seminar session(about 20-30 mins) will be followed by discussion and fellowship time. If you would like to join us and would like more information (like: where exactly does Diana Fang live? Or even, who is Diana?!) go to our Contact Us page and we’ll get back to you personally!

Obviously I really love studying and living out Biblical womanhood. To share a little, I grew up with a very strong opinion that women should be allowed to do everything a man can do, and even more so if she’s better at it. I took immense pride in being “superior” in every way: creatively, intellectually, and many times physically too! I desired to become completely independent and looked down on homemakers as if they were lazy and had refused to live up to their full potential and use their brain.
Then, I started studying the Bible and the lives of the many godly women I admire and look up to. Thankfully God has been showing me how wrong I was! And a clarification right now: While my views on womanhood have drastically changed, I am still ambitious, probably to a greater extent than before. I am still an engineer, I still study, I am still planning on entering the workforce, and I still have dreams and visions (a LOT of them!!). The difference lies in my motivations, my understanding of my Creator, and my desire to fulfill the role He has MADE me for, all of which enable the most satisfaction in this lifetime!!
